The Svanidze olive grove is planted on the Taribana plain in Dedoplistskaro, across a 1,500-hectare plot of land. Olives grown in Georgia stand out for their high oil content, strong extraction yield, and dual purpose: suitable for producing both oil and marinades.
The company was founded by Giorgi Svanidze, twice-elected President of the UN's International Olive Council (IOC) in 2019–2020 and 2020–2021, and now its Honorary President. To advance Georgia's agricultural sector, he established olive cultivation in the country, and to support local farmers — with the backing of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture — he created the first olive nursery in Kakheti. Thanks to this nursery, local farmers now grow olives themselves and deliver them to the company's plant, where the olives are processed and made into finished products.
